The meat we use for our dishes has to be the best we can find. Our butcher (Morningside Butchery) has been supplying us for years with the most incredible quality beef and lamb and free range chicken!
We love making vegetarian and vegan dishes and are always trying to come up with new ideas! Our baked risottos and lentil lasagnas are a favourite and if you are vegan be sure to try the vegan cottage pie, chickpea and coconut curry and our superfood salad!
We only use free range eggs, butter and Belgian chocolate to create our gorgeous made-from-scratch desserts and biscuits! Crumbles and cobblers are made with in-season fresh fruit plums, peaches and berries in Summer, apples and pears in Winter! Our classic South African peppermint crisp pudding is always a hit!
We love supporting South Africans making amazing products! Some of our most popular include locally made Kombucha (a fermented tea), toffees from Darling Sweet in the Cape and moreish caramel popcorn & salted macadamia nut brittle from Ma Mere. We also roast our own nuts…rosemary, chilli and brown sugar is a firm favourite!
